PR Road Trip Caves

Day 4 of our road trip was all about caves. We started with another two hour drive through the winding mountains to Rio Camuy Cave Park. After our tour we drove a little further to the north coast to see Cueva del Indio. The next day we drove to the east side of the island and hiked through the jungle, El Yunque.

Surprise surprise, I'm not dressed appropriately for caving.

El Yunque Rainforest

We had hoped just to hike through the rainforest and were surprised when the trail brought us to these serene pools.
Since we got an early start we were able to enjoy them alone before the crowds came up.

Though we still didn't see any coqui frogs, we were able to capture their sound!
